SBIC Best Practices Stimulating Demand through Increased Consumer Awareness
GBP Receives SBIC Award

Washington D.C., December 7, 2006 - Green Building Pages, a web resource guide for sustainable building materials, received the 2006 SBIC's award for Stimulating Demand through Increased Consumer Awareness. SBIC recognized three winning projects for the 2006 Best Sustainable Practice Award at the Ecobuild Federal Conference in Washington, D.C.

The award program is in its sixth year of recognizing those who are making exceptional contributions to sustainability in America's built environment. Green Building Initiative and ASHRAE were other recipients of this year's awards.

Creating a Market Transformation
Market Transformation Green Building Pages received the award based on the sustainable practice tools for Creating a Market Transformation.
